A story exploring the lives of two intersex individuals and their struggle to overcome social obstacles and achieve self-acceptance, alongside a lifelong love between two older women who were forced apart by the constraints of their time but now choose to share the life they have left. Set across different contexts, it also follows two intersex South Africans—a beauty queen and an activist—facing identity crises and trauma as they navigate a rigidly binary world.
